WE ARE STORYTELLERS
Many of us who have been involved with Epic Table Games have been nerds for as long as we can remember. It started simply enough with cartoons, or books, and eventually grew into games, and evolved into more complex rules and deeper usage of our imaginations. Some of us are newer to the fantasy worlds that Pen & Paper games bring us, and others still have been endowed in the world since their birth. Epic Table Games brings together our love for imagination, gathering together and playing games that require creative solutions.
OUR STORY
Epic Table Games was founded in 2018 by best friends Brandon “Potato” Tatroe and Rob De Ville, with the goal of creating high-quality gaming content and products that would delight and entertain their fellow tabletop roleplaying enthusiasts.
Tragically, Brandon passed away in a car accident in 2022, but his vision and passion live on through the company he helped create. After his passing, Rob teamed up with longtime collaborator Michael “Machio” Reynolds to continue developing Epic Table Games’ product line and expanding their creative community.
In 2023, the Epic Table Games team released their first 5E compatible adventure, “Legend of the Pharaoh King“, followed by five additional 5E adventures and their signature supplement “The Ritual Book of Arcane Rites” – a book that has fundamentally changed the way magic works in Dungeons & Dragons.
Building on this early success, in the first quarter of 2024 Epic Table Games published their first two adventures for the Everyday Heroes game, a modern setting also compatible with 5E. They also laid the foundation for their newest project, Dark Noir, a standalone gritty urban fantasy roleplaying system inspired by classic pulp novels.
Through it all, the core mission of Epic Table Games has remained the same – to create high-quality products and content that entertain, inspire, and foster a vibrant community of tabletop gamers. We may have faced tragedy along the way, but our passion and determination to honor Brandon’s memory keeps us moving forward, one epic adventure at a time.
